Master Gardeners Annual Spring Tour

Master Gardeners Annual Spring Tour

The University of California Cooperative Extension Madera County Master Gardeners will host their 6th annual Spring Garden Tour on Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This year's tour celebrates creative gardening.  Each garden has an individual style from a very personal collection of exotic evergreens, to a lavish estate garden.

Master Gardeners will be present at each garden to answer questions about plant identification, planting techniques, and garden problems.

Every garden will have extensive plant labeling to suggest new ideas for landscaping and planting in Madera County home gardens.

The gardens also demonstrate practical ideas for water features in the landscape and tour participants can learn about irrigation, drought-tolerance, and water conservation.
