Deadline Nears For PG&E's Bright Minds Scholarships
This year, PG&E will award up to $1 million in scholarships to students who live within its service territory.
There is still time for Valley students to apply for Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Bright Minds scholarships.
Fresno is already setting the pace with more than 60 applicants for a scholarship. The deadline to apply February 17th .
Up to 10 students will receive up to $30,000 scholarships that are renewable for up to four years or until a degree or certificate is earned.
Other students will receive a $2,500 scholarship that is not renewable, however students can reapply each year.
To be eligible, students must live within PG&Es 70,000 square-mile service territory, be a high school senior or graduate, be at least 16 years old and plan to enroll at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school.
